Center for Architecture + Design

Join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new Center for Architecture & Design in San Francisco, located at 140 Sutter Street within the historic Hallidie Building. This exciting event marks the culmination of years of planning and effort to establish a vibrant hub for architecture and design in downtown San Francisco and features the artwork and sculpture of artist, Ryan Bucko.

This new Center will play a pivotal role in expanding the cultural landscape of San Francisco. It will host various activities, including events, lectures, film screenings, tours, and gallery exhibitions. It is designed to be a space where the public can engage, learn, and collaborate, fostering a sense of community around architecture and design.

Designed by the team at Aidlin Darling Design and brought to life by BCCI Construction, this space will surely breathe new life into San Francisco's downtown. It will serve as a public arena for architecture and design exhibitions, discussions, and more.

The creation of this Center has been a collaborative endeavor that spanned many years, made possible through the generous support of AIA San Francisco members, industry partners, and individual contributors. Countless individuals, companies, and architectural firms have pitched in, offering financial support, services, and materials to bring this vision to life.
