GEOMETRIC SERIES

This was a breakthrough series that gave my work an authentic voice and broke through the internal clutter. The series combined the two aspects of my thinking – the creative and the technical. With my equal passion for both, this combination of mediums clarified what I wanted to say as an artist. The under-paintings have to be emotionally powerful, but unlike the Abstract Series, they cannot have subject. Only after the geometric line work made from nylon is added does the composition create subject.
