The Interplay Series is a body of work that explores small works on a variety of substrates using the same techniques and mediums as the larger paintings. Each piece has a custom-made acrylic mat system developed by the artist and were designed to be configured and rotated into any orientation. Please inquire if interested in purchasing.

EAMES® INTERPLAY

The Eames® Interplay series of small works uses similar mixed media techniques as the larger paintings. This multi-level process begins with a painting on panel substrate and then architectural details of the Eames® House are laser-etched into the paintings exposing the layers beneath. Suspended wires hover over the paintings which reference the architecture and construction detail of the building. The layers are then assembled into a gallery frame (matte white) with a custom acrylic mat system developed by the artist. Installation hardware allows for rotation into any desired orientation and configuration. Each piece may be purchased individually or in a set as shown.

LINEAR INTERPLAY

The Linear Interplay series are small works on paper using the same techniques and mediums as the larger paintings. From the 30 original pieces created, only 18 final pieces were framed, numbered, and sold. A gunmetal frame and custom-made acrylic mat system were developed by the artist and designed to be rotated into any desired orientation and configuration.
